So For the better part of the year Batman (Bruce Wayne) has been absent from a lot of on-going comic runs. To put a long story short, DC gave the Dark Knight amnesia and replaced him with a middle aged Commissioner Gordon, wedged in a mecha bunny suite (basically imagine Gary Oldman as Robo-cop…you can’t make this shit up).

Something in your eye
Wow, ok I was not expecting to expect the unexpected this week, but it’s exactly what we should have expected. This week’s episode was definitely an odd one, the whole episode was masquerading as a filler at first, only then to reveal a twist, that completely changes from the source material and what I should expect in future episodes. Earth shifting twists aside let check out this week’s episodes highs and lows as we recap the dead.

Kill or Run
Despite being an obvious filler episode, this weeks episode tilted ‘The Same Boat’, more than made up for it with a Carol and Maggie focused episode that featured a more female driven supporting cast. As you can imagine, life during the apocalypse is pretty rough, as you can also imagine, life in the apocalypse with XX chromosomes is even rougher. It’s a point of view that has never been really been explored before in the Walking Dead, so it made for an engaging and brutal filler episode. So did This weeks episode female driven cast shine a new light on life in the Zombie apocalypse or did it fall into obvious cliché pit falls? Lets find out as we recap the dead.
As promised Marvel dropped the second trailer for Captain America Civil Warm this trailer was long rumored to be the one to finally introduce the ever popular web swinging, friendly neighborhood Spider-man (Tom Holland) into the Marvel cinematic universe.Lo and be-hold, right at the end of the trailer we get to see the web head in action as he disarms Captain America of his shield (making for one cool final money shot). So the long reported rumor of Spider-man being on Team iron and fighting Captain America, looks like it was bang on the money. Read More

Who will save the Saviors?
Just like we already new it was going to be, this weeks episode was balls bursting with action. It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen team Rick have to deal with a human threat en-mass. In fact we haven’t seen this much contempt for the living since the Governor and that guy thought it would be a good idea to bring a fucking tank to a gun fight (it’s actually a really really great idea, I highly recommend it actually). So as we recap on all the shooting and stabbing in this weeks episode, I gotta ask whether this episode hit the mark, or did the point of this episode get lost in all the bloodshed instead? Read More

Rick’s world gets bigger and bloodier
This episode was pretty much exactly what it needed to be, ultimately not much happened in ‘Knots Untie’, but at the same time not much needed to. The Walking dead is in it’s slow shambling (I’m not even sorry i used that word) transgression into a slightly different format. Rick and the gang finally get to see a small part of a world that has been thriving and growing right under there nose. But is this new world already starting to look worse the the old one? Read More
